Site Specific
The next episode of the Ladies Village Improvement Society is hot off the (digital) presses--- The Site-Specific Show!
Everyone has places that loom large in their memory and become part of their identity. The Ladies Village explores this through sounds of spaces, places, wieners and Wags. What's going on outside your window?
As always, you can listen on our website, LVISRADIO.ORG, or check us out in the ITunes store. Just search "Ladies Village." And if you have a minute, rate us on the ITunes subscription page, so other people will be tempted to listen.

L and R - thanks for sending this along. Sailing around NY Harbor, we go past a lot of kills (Dutch for creek, stream, riverbed) around Staten Island and other parts of NYC that were Dutch farmland or settlements. Many of the kills have abandoned hulks of boats and barges that are just too much of a pain to move and since they aren’t hazards to navigation, the NY Harbormaster and the USCG leave them rotting quietly in the tides. These are clearly not “fresh” kills.
Outside my window are empty beer and wine bottles from the Saturday night/Sunday morning East Village revels of 12 hours ago.
And I have no manifesto, editorial or otherwise.
But you have a nice take on things - thanks -
